How To Beat The Summer Heat

Hey Everyone, Summer is here so I'm thinking to share some tips to beat the summer heat.

* Dress in light, loose, lawn/cotton clothing. Loose fitting clothes allow air to circulate, keeping you cool.

* Use sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher. You can get sunburn even on a cloudy day, so put some sunscreen on every morning. Don't forget lips, ears, back of neck.

* Drink lots of water, juices and Non-Alcoholic drinks and stay hydrated. Avoid sugary soft drinks, alcohol and caffeine, which are diuretics - substances that increase water loss via the urine.

* Coconut water can safe you from summer heat. Tender coconut has all the essential substances which the body needs to keep it hydrated and maintain the nutrient level.

* Iced tea is a great summertime drink.

* Lemonade is the next best remedy. Lemonade is a drink make of lemon juice, salt and sugar is a saline solution, a rich source of vitamin C and Vitamin B. It keeps the body hydrates, protects skin and also promotes digestion, which usually fails during summer months.

* Avoid drinking chilled water immediately after returning from the outdoor heat. Thus, it is best to drink water from earthen pots. These pots keep the water cool and matches up to the body temperature, without causing harm.

Follow these tips above to beat the summer heat and Stay Gorgeous!

Fix Fine Lines & Wrinkles

Hey everyone,
Today, I'm gonna share some homemade recipes for fixing fine lines and wrinkles :)))

Fine lines and wrinkles appear with age, as your skin lose elasticity. Home remedies can help reduce existing wrinkles, but it will take some time to recover. plus you have to take good care of yourself like staying out of the sun (as much as you can or apply sunblock), avoiding cigarette smoke, keeping the skin clean and moisturized.

Milk and Yogurt: Soak a cotton ball in whole milk, and dab the liquid onto your face and neck. Leave on until dry (10-15 minutes), or apply a thin layer of curd/yoghurt for 15 minutes, rinse with warm water and pat your skin dry. Repeat daily for 20-30 days for best results.

Coffee: The caffeine in coffee firms the skin to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Dab a cotton ball into a cup of cooled coffee, and apply directly to the affected areas. leave on until dry, and rinse with warm water. Repeat once daily as needed to help get rid of lines and wrinkles. Do not use coffee with added sugar or cream. Use plain black coffee for the best results.

Diet: Diet plays an important role, too. So start eating healthy it will make you beautiful inside out :))).. take more eggs (are high in lutein and zeaxanthin, help to smooth fine lines and wrinkles), green leafy vegetables, tomatoes (contains lycopene and a natural sunblock), Papaya (great for skin), and there are many more vegetables and fruits which make you beautiful inside out :)))

(Inside Out) Ban Blemishes

Hey everyone,

If you think pizza, burger, chocolate, etc are bad, cause breakouts, think again!

Eating cheese burger probably don't make much difference to your skin, but what will make a difference is eating more fruits, vegetables and other foods that help keep hormones in balance and fight inflammation.

One of the best foods for helping zap zits is salmon, says Lisa Drayer, a registered dietitian and author of The Beauty Diet. “Salmon is a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, and acne may be caused by taking in too little omega-3 fats,” which can be found in salmon, sardines and flax seeds, “in relation to omega-6 fats,” in the form of processed foods that contain soybean oil. “Such an imbalance can cause inflammation, leading to blocked pores that cause an overproduction of oil,” says Drayer.

And Yeah...
Some helpful steps to ban blemishes...

*Drink lots of water: You need to keep hydrated to have a clear skin. You should drink at least 8 cups of water every day (I drink 12-15 glasses of water everyday :)).

*Wash your face daily: There are many face washes/cleansers out there, make sure you use the right face wash/cleanser for your type of skin (oily, dry, or normal). Wash your face twice a day and moisturize after that .

*Avoid sharing a towel: As this could spread someones acne bacteria to your face.

*Stop popping: This will leave a scar :(

*Eat healthy: Stop eating junk food. Studies show that soda, chips, and candy cause more pimples (Tried and tested by me :(. well, you can treat yourself once in a while but NOT everyday :) Start taking Vitamin C, it is very good for your skin (i.e. oranges, raw red peppers, kiwi, grapefruit, and raw broccoli, etc). and If you were on a diet and lost some pounds (like me lol) start taking Vitamin C It will tighten your skin :).

*If you have got severe acne, consult your doctor: stop experimenting by yourself :)

Hmm Did you find this post helpful ??? Let me know :)))

Till Then,
Take Care. Allah Hafiz.

(Benefits) Of Popcorn

Hey Everyone,

Today, I'm gonna share some benefits of Popcorn (a very tasty and very healthy snack).

Researchers have found popcorn contains more antioxidants than fruits and vegetables and the hull of popcorn, which has tendency to get stuck (ouch!) between the teeth, is a nutritional powerhouse, researchers called them "nutritional gold nuggets."

Popcorn contains high fiber, an important substance for the body encourages healthy digestion and regularity.

Hmmm I'm glad I've came to know about these benefits because before I though Popcorn makes us more fat :-P A 2011 study found that soluble fiber (one type of fiber found in popcorn) helped to reduce belly fat. This means eat one serving of Popcorn everyday (yummy) instead of one hour workout for belly fat (yayyy) lol. Fiber also helps in the prevention of cardiovascular disease. Popcorn may also be a great snack for diabetics looking to improve control of their blood sugar levels.

Well well, don't get too excited about buying the extra large popcorn at movie theatre — researcher warns as soon as you cook it in oil/butter, popcorn can become a nutritional nightmare loaded with fat and calories.

Only Air-popped corn contains less than 100 calories in a serving while corn popped in oil./butter has about twice as many calories.

Hmm I always want to know about food which makes beautiful from inside out and It’s clear that Popcorn makes you gorgeous (has antioxidants) from the inside out (awesome!). Now you can be gorgeous while enjoying Popcorn (yummy!)

Hmm What do you think about this news??? Do U like Popcorn???

Today, I'm gonna share some homemade recipes which you can make easily and these works great (even your skin tone and makes your skin fair if you use on regular basis).

The only thing you need to buy/apply a good sun block (SPF 30+) before going outside (15-20 mins before), and when you are at home, it is necessary to wear sun block (SPF 15).

You can get fair skin at home by using the products which are available in your kitchen!

Wash off after 15-20 minutes (if necessary).
  • Scrub a half of lemon on your face daily.
  • Mash a tomato and pour 4-5 drops of lemon juice, and apply to get a pinkish-white glow.

  • Apply cucumber juice with lemon juice. good for oily skin.
  • Apply plain curd/yoghurt on your skin to get fair and soft skin.
  • Apply coconut water to get fair and flawless skin. also good for lightening the scars.
  • Cucumber juice mixed with honey is very useful for making dry skin fair.

  • Take 2 spoon of sugar with juice of a lemon to scrub your face. Scrub your face till sugar granules do not melt . Use it on your face, neck, elbows, legs to get fairer and softer skin. Do not do this if you have pimples on your face as pimples will burst in the process of scrubbing.
